While their public-schooled counterparts are languishing in their classrooms on this rainy day, looking forward to a rousing game of "heads up 7-up", this is what my children were doing:
Now they're in the bath and are going to put on jammies, have lunch, hot cocoa and finish up their work for the day, if they haven't yet. Yes, I have a much messier home than those who send their children to school, and I certainly have a lot more laundry, but as Abby yelled over and over while splashing, "THIS IS A KIDS LIFE!!!!"

Wow! You guys must be in a low spot or does everyone's driveway fill up like that. Did it go inside the garage? We got alot of rain here too but not much stays around in our yard. Glad the kids had fun!
Thankfully this isn't OUR garage and no one lives in this house. I can only imagine what the garage looks like. The house has a sump pump, but obviously it's not working!! Jeremy told them when he was a child, he played in flood water and got a tape worm. I tried to tell him that was because he was in a third world country, but he's not convinced.
LOL, Jeremy forgets....it was Mark, not him and they both were putting the water in their mouths and squirting it out...ewww, Jonathan and I were out filling orders for the missionaries and our helpers were watching them...they had a blast though..
Well a tape worm is a small price to pay for 2 boys being occupied, eh?!?!
